An Beautiful Arbor and More {Young Wedding}

It's time to showcase another beautiful wedding!
This particular wedding had lots of beautiful details.
One of the things that really stood out was the STUNNING arbor decor.
Our arbor is a permanent fixture here at Faulkner's Ranch and is used as the ceremony focal point for the majority of our weddings.  We love seeing how each bride and florist make it their own.  In the case of this wedding, the arbor was absolutely beautiful!
Just see for yourself...
The only thing that was more beautiful than the arbor? The bride of course!
We were able to snap these photos of her just a few minutes before she walked down the aisle to say "I do."
Just look at that train! GORGEOUS!
Another thing that we loved about this wedding was how they incorporated the color red.  Red is such a bright, bold color that too much can be overwhelming.  However, they chose the perfect amount in the perfect places!
There was the beautiful bouquet...
The vest and bow tie on the handsome ring bearer...
The pop of red ribbons around the cake (complete with Goku cake topper)...
They even had a red themed candy bar! YUM!

This wedding was just beautiful all around.
Congratulations once again to Mr. and Mrs. Young! Here's wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and love!

Some Sweet Wedding Inspiration {Bedell Wedding}

One of our favorite things to do is share with you beautiful ideas from the weddings that we have here at the ranch.
Ray and Callie Bedell's wedding was nothing short of inspiration!

First of all, the day was beautiful!

Sherrie Ortiz of Sherri's Cakes designed this beautiful and delicious cake!

The best part was that the flowers were edible and will be preserved in a engraved memory box.

Russ Lawrence did the flowers for this event.

We absolutely LOVED the following idea. The bride had a throw bouquet specifically for the kids at the wedding. All she had to do was pull the ribbon and the flowers all came apart so that each child got one. Isn't that sweet?

We just love weddings like this that are full of special details.
Congrats once again to Mr. & Mrs. Bedell! Best wishes and lots of love to you both!

A Perfect Wedding {The Sipes}

We have been SO EXCITED to share with you this beautiful wedding.
Everything about the Sipes wedding was perfect.  The decor, special touches, the attention to detail.
Scott Van Cleave, the father of the bride, made this beautiful sign to welcome guests.
As guests arrived, they were welcomed by the sounds of a beautiful string quartet.  They set the mood perfectly for the ceremony.
As the quartet played in the background, guests first came across this unique seating chart before heading into the covered picnic pavilion.
We loved the creativity behind this idea.  We also loved how functional it was.  Instead of guests hovering over a table to see where they will be sat or searching for place cards, they could easily walk around this to find where they are seated.

After finding their table number, guests were asked to sign the couple's "guestbook."  We are a huge fan of guestbook alternatives because most normal guestbooks end up in storage.  Pieces like this end up as art on a wall and are a beautiful reminder of your special day.

The pavilion looked absolutely beautiful that night.  The ivory table linens and chair covers really helped to transform the space.
It was amazing to think that only a few hours prior we had been hosting a company picnic in this exact spot.

The table settings were truly one of a kind.
Kelly Acock once again blew us away with her floral and centerpiece designs.
Each one was unique, yet they all tied together.
We loved the use of different vases, textures, and heights.

One of our favorite details from this wedding was the party favors that they had at each table for the guests.  They were the most adorable little jars of jam!  How fun to enjoy over a piece of toast for breakfast the next morning while you talk about all of the fun you had the night before!

The bride and groom were seated at the front of the pavilion, closest to the dance floor, at this romantic sweetheart table.  We love the sweet handmade signs that set their table apart.

One of the best parts of our job is getting to witness all of the wonderful "behind-the-scenes" moments.  Watching Rachel and her father get ready to walk down the aisle was so sweet.  He was checking her veil to make sure it was just perfect.  You could just tell that he was so excited to show everyone how beautiful she looked.
Speaking of how beautiful she looked, wasn't her dress amazing?  It was so elegant!

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom greeted guests with a receiving line before they enjoyed a delicious buffet.  The menu they chose for that night was absolutely delicious!

One of our favorite details of this wedding, however, was how the bride and groom chose to serve pies in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. The set up for their pie table was absolutely adorable!
To keep the flow of the party running smoothly, they had separate pies from the ones on display that were already pre-scliced and ready to serve.  Very smart!

Jason Brown, our Ranch J from Complete Music for the night, did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping the dance floor packed.
It was the perfect night for dancing outside under the string lights and stars!
Rule of thumb for brides and grooms: If you want your guests to dance, you need to be on the dance floor too.  The weddings where the bride and groom spend most of their time dancing are the ones that always have a packed dance floor.

Overall, this wedding was truly magical.  It was such a pleasure to celebrate a wonderful couple like Ross and Rachel.
Congrats to them once again! We wish you a lifetime full of happiness!

Huebl Wedding

We love this time of year!
Wedding season is still in full swing, the ranch is lush and green, the sunsets are out of this world, and there is just so much love to celebrate!

Plus, we get to work with the most awesome couples, one of those being Joe and Jessica Huebl.  These two lovebirds tied the knot at the ranch on May 16th and the evening couldn't have been more perfect.

Where to even begin?

Let’s start with the decor!
The bride made most of the decor including the personal items created for the cake and guest registration tables. She's pretty talented, huh?
There were special touches everywhere you looked. We loved this sign that said, “Shoot it! Share it! Tag it!”
In today’s high-tech day and age, having a wedding hashtag handle is a great idea.  It lets the bride and groom be able to collect all of their candid wedding photos from friends and family in one spot.

Kelly Acock of Monarch Flowers enhanced the setting with fabric draping and lighting at the ceremony site and outdoor pavilion.
It was absolutely stunning in person!

Thankfully, the weather cooperated (there was a chance for storms) and we were able to have the ceremony outside at the arbor by the pond.

While the setting was gorgeous, even more beautiful was the bride.  She was absolutely radiant!

The wedding party included Joe's daughter, Kaylie, as a junior bridesmaid and Joe and Jessica's daughter Skylar as a flower girl. Little Skylar fell asleep a few minutes before the ceremony and didn't get to make her walk down the aisle; however Jessica's grandmother was happy to cuddle her great granddaughter and watch the ceremony from the shade of the pavilion. Gotta love grandmas!

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a traditional Ranch BBQ that included pulled pork and beef brisket.  There was also a host bar and a delicious (and beautiful!) wedding cake.

One of our favorite parts of this wedding was the first dance which they included their daughters in.  It was so neat to see the family come together.

Overall, the evening was absolutely perfect.  Even Mother Nature cooperated and the first raindrops didn't fall until the last guests were departing.  Thank goodness!

Congrats once again to Mr. and Mrs. Huebl! It was a pleasure to be a part of your special day!

A Happy Mother of the Bride

We can go on and on about how wonderful our ranch weddings are.  But nothing truly says it best like a letter from a happy mother of the bride.  The Whiteaker/Oakes wedding was one of our favorite weddings we've ever done and we were so happy when this showed up in our inbox just a week later.

Good morning Lisa!

Boy, it is hard to imagine exactly 1 week ago it was wedding day, what a fast week it has been!

I am one happy Mom I know that for a fact! You all outdid yourselves at my daughters wedding and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have had many people in conversation this week tell me how wonderful the staff was during our cookie hour and supper hour. The supper was magnificent!  A true family atmosphere that fit the Whiteaker and Oakes Families to a "T".  I was busy with the kids trying to take it all in and I know I missed a lot , but, knowing you all were taking care of things on our special day is overwhelming. There are not enough thank yous in the world to tell you how I feel on the inside. This is a wedding people will be are still are talking about for awhile and that makes me very proud.

Recognition is such a "must" during life and I would appreciate it if you passed on my thankfulness to each of the staff that evening. My only wish is I would have wrapped my arms around each of them and given them a big hug because that is who I am. If Mike told me once he told me twice how he was keeping a watchful eye on the kids gifts, so much appreciated.

I sure hope you all are still around when the time comes for my son to get married. Once again thank you for a country elegant memorable experience.

Much love, hugs and Blessings from this Mom!

She also left such a sweet comment on our Facebook page...

Feedback like this is why we do what we do.  It is such a wonderful feeling to know that we were an integral party of this day that they they will remember forever.

Oh, and before we go, we just have to share one more thing.
Just look at their cupcake tower! Isn't it beautiful?!

Have a great day, y'all!
