Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
This week we asked some of our ranch team what they are most thankful for.
See what they had to say below!

What I am thankful for most this year is my little family.  Glory is maturing into a beautiful, smart, responsible young woman and Miles is blooming into a compassionate, friendly, kid who has an enthusiasm to learn and great sense of adventure.  James is funny and still has a drive and work ethic that keeps me motivated to be my best everyday.  We are all very thankful for our dog Breck who is our house therapist and trustiest companion.  Life is good.
- Christine Loneman

There are too many things to list that I am grateful for, but I can name a few.   One is for my husband, for without him, I would be overwhelmed with life.  Two, for my boys that have matured into good young men who I don't need to worry about.  Three for my entire family, who are close with each other, always there for each other,  and who all get along and have fun with each other.
- Lisa G.

I am thankful for my husband, Lance and kids Roscoe(12), Beau(10), Colette(8), and Kid(4) - and our good health and blessings!
- JJ

I'm thankful for my girls--and the fact that we are finished with braces at our house!
- Lisa F.

All of my good friends and neighbors!!!
- Mike Foley

There are so many things that I am thankful for.  I am so thankful for my husband, who amazes me every day with his love, drive, and humor.  I'm also thankful for our amazing daughter who is growing into the sweetest, sassiest little bundle of joy that you have ever met.  Of course, I can't forget our Trudy who loves us unconditionally. I'm also thankful for my amazing parents who are so supportive of everything we do and my wonderful family.  I truly have the coolest family in the world!
- Kelly Jo

Of course, we here at Faulkner's Ranch are thankful for...YOU!  That's right! We have, without a doubt the best fans and clients. You make our job SO MUCH FUN!

Have a great Thanksgiving, y'all!

January is the New December

If you're like most people around this time of year, you've probably noticed that your December schedule is already becoming quite full.  Between holiday parties, school concerts, shopping for presents, baking, traveling, and more, it can be hard to find a moment of free time during this busy season.  That is why many employers are taking part in the popular trend of having their company holiday party AFTER the holidays!
It's no wonder why they are choosing to do this either.

Here are 5 reasons why January is becoming the new December!

1.  It is more convenient for the employees.
It is so much easier to find a free weekend in January than December.  Because of this, your employees will appreciate not have to choose between events or other commitments.  Plus, it is easier for employees to find babysitters after the busy holiday season when they are in high demand.

2.  There are more dates to choose from.
There are only so many weekends before Christmas.  January opens up a whole new slew of choices that don't conflict with any holidays or travel times.

3.  It boosts company moral in January!
After the bustle of the holidays, January can be a bit of a letdown.  Thankfully, a January event helps to add some excitement and fun to the schedule.  January events allow your guests to laugh about the holiday stress without being in the middle of it.  Everyone can trade stories and talk about their Christmas break without being worried about everything remaining on their to-do list.

4.  They can easily be mixed with team-building activities.
Bouncing off of #4, January parties can be used to get the team motivated again.  Incorporate some fun team-building activities into your event and encourage guests to participate with prizes.  This is a great way to get the new years started off right.

5. It's cheaper!
Many discounts are available in January.  Plus, it gives you as the employer a chance to look at your year-end books to better decide how much you are able to budget.

For more information on our holiday parties please send us an e-mail today.

Have a great day, y'all!

Under Construction!

We've got something exciting underway!
If you came out to Faulkner's Ranch this Pumpkin Season, you might have noticed a little construction going on...
Welp, what you were seeing was the beginning of our
BRAND NEW CATERING KITCHEN!
Food brings people together and we love the catering team that we have assembled.  We have put a lot of time, energy, and most importantly love into the menu items that we serve.
That is why we are so excited to build this catering kitchen so that the food can be prepared and served fresh adjacent to the banquet barn and picnic pavilion.  This kitchen has been designed to suit our needs based on the specific menu items we will serve.  It will even have a smoker built right into the kitchen to permit smoking food in any weather from the comforts of inside!  How awesome is that?!  But wait, it gets better!  It will also have a concessions area to service that need during our Pumpkin Season.  Thankfully it'll be done way before next year's Pumpkin Season.  In fact, the catering kitchen will be ready to use just in time for our Holiday Parties
Needless to say, we are so, so, so excited about this new addition! We can't wait for you to experience all of the yumminess that it will bring!

Have a great day, y'all!
