Pony Party Round-Up #5

At Faulkner's Ranch, our indoor pony parties are fit for a princess!
So, of course, it is no wonder that we see lots of princess-themed birthday bashes!

One of our favorite princess pony parties that we've had recently was for the beautiful Princess Mariah.  It meant so much to us that her family chose to have her party at Faulkner's because her big sister had her party here last year!

Her daddy made her this super sweet rope sign. Isn't it cool?

It looked great set up behind her awesome Brave-themed cake.

Another great party was for Princess Piper.  This one had a cake that was after our own heart.

Any cake with pumpkins on it makes us so happy!

Here is another cool idea!
This one was for a minion party, but it is a perfect idea to use for princess parties, or any birthday party for that matter!
Glass pebbles as table decor!
These add a perfect punch of color and are not messy like confetti.  We thought they were a really awesome idea that we hadn't seen before.

So there you have it - that's this week's Pony Party Round-Up!
Stay tuned for more fun birthday ideas!

Pony Party Round-Up #4

It’s Saturday which means it is time again for Pony Party Round-Up!
Yee-haw!
This is our special blog series where we share with you some of our favorite ideas from recent pony parties!
It goes without a doubt that our party mamas and papas blow us away with the creative ideas they bring.

Just check out these super cute cupcakes and cake from Tate's second birthday party, made by his mama.
SO CUTE, right?! You can tell that they were made with love!

Here's a really fun serving idea: cupcake liners as potato chip holders! Not only do they look adorable, but it is the perfect serving size for little hands.

Of course, you have to make sure that your guests know about your party in order for them to see all of the cute details. What a better way to get them there than an adorable farm-themed invite. We thought that this one from Tiny Prints for Tucker's birthday was so fun!
You can order the same on here.

Want to make a colorful centerpiece that doesn't break the bank and looks great in pictures?
These faux sunflowers stuck in miniature hay bales will do the trick!  Pop a few on each table and you are set! Easy peasy!

We told you our party parents are uber creative! So many fun ideas!
But there are still many, many more to come so stay tuned!

A Firestone Tradition

One of our favorite company picnics that we have had the pleasure of hosting is Firestone.
Prior to having their event at Faulkner's Ranch, they held it at a shelter where they were in charge of set up, clean up, cooking, and entertainment. That was a tremendous amount of work on their part. Thankfully they found a turn-key solution here at Faulkner's Ranch that allowed them to still bring their employees and families together annually, without all of the hassle that went into planning a picnic at a shelter. By allowing us here at Faulkner's to take care of everything, it allowed them more time to manage their tire company. They got to focus on their business, while we go to put together an exciting company picnic for them!

Firestone truly values their company picnic, so it was a great joy for us to be able to make their picnics the best they'd ever had.
These are some our favorite photos from one of their picnics here at the ranch.
This one had a lot of fun activities that were enjoyable for all ages!

For this event, we chose to bring in a balloon artist for the kids. This guy was incredible!

Have you ever seen such awesome balloon creations?!
Even our Ranch J, Ted, got in on the balloon action. We loved his microphone!

Speaking of our Ranch J - these guys do a wonderful job in leading all of the games at our picnics. And let us tell ya, folks - Firestone brought the heat to this one! This was one of the best tug-of-wars we've ever seen!

Some of their other favorite activities of the day were the water balloon toss...
...and of course, the roller roper!

The youngins had a ton of fun with the hula hoop contest...

...and of course, face painting was a hit!

No company picnic would be complete without visiting our petting farm animals.

At this one we had a very special new member of the farm family - Stormy!

It was a hot day, so everyone really enjoyed cooling off in the sprinklers between activities!

We should also mention that Firestone did a fantastic job with their prizes by giving away some awesome gift cards.  You can't go wrong with gift cards.

We are so glad that Firestone chose to switch up their tradition and party with us at Faulkner's!
We had such a great time with this awesome group!

Pony Party Round-Up #3

It’s time for another fun edition of Pony Party Round-Up, our blog series where we share with you some of our favorite ideas from recent pony parties!
Now, without further ado…let's begin!

A super cute cake for a super sweet girl!

We love love love mason jars.  Add in some cow-print straws and we’ll swoon!

This was such a cute way to display Rice Krispie treats.  Tie them up with a licorice whip and you instantly have hay bales!

Oreos aren’t just Oreos at the ranch…

They become Wagon Wheels! Too clever!

Here are some more adorable party favorite buckets!

At this party, hats for the kiddos also served as decor when the guests entered…

Very cute!

A big trend that we've seen all year is adorable happy birthday banners...

Many of these you can make yourself or purchase from Easy!

And last but not least, another super cute pony cookie! These make such great party favors!

Go East High!

At the ranch, we do more than just weddings, company picnics, and birthday parties.  We also do private parties, like high school reunions.  It is always so much fun to be a part of these events because we get the chance to hear our guests' stories and share their memories.

Awhile ago, East High School's Class of 1958 held their reunion luncheon at Faulkner's Ranch so we got a chance to enjoy their blast to the past.

What stood out so much about this reunion was the decor.  It was more than just the school colors.  It was a piece of history right out of their yearbooks.
Just take a look at this cheerleading uniform that they had on display by the stage:
Isn't that a fun idea?  Seeing that must have brought back so many memories of Friday night football games.  The skirts have gotten a little shorter since then, haven't they? ;o)

They also showed their school pride with their centerpieces.

We love the use of the megaphones.  It is such a simple idea, but it adds the perfect touch of school spirit.

They also paid tribute to those that had passed with a beautiful "In Memoriam" wall collage...
Below the collage they had a memorabilia table complete with cheer sweaters, yearbooks, and photos.
It was easy to see that the alumni really enjoyed looking through this display.  It was such a nice way to honor the memory of those who were no longer with them by remembering the good ole times.

Of course, we can't forget to mention the band!  They were still rockin' after all these years and provided the perfect entertainment for the afternoon.

Overall, this was such a fun event!
Thanks again to the Class of '58 for sharing their good times with us!

Have a great day, ya'll!
