A Firestone Tradition

One of our favorite company picnics that we have had the pleasure of hosting is Firestone.
Prior to having their event at Faulkner's Ranch, they held it at a shelter where they were in charge of set up, clean up, cooking, and entertainment. That was a tremendous amount of work on their part. Thankfully they found a turn-key solution here at Faulkner's Ranch that allowed them to still bring their employees and families together annually, without all of the hassle that went into planning a picnic at a shelter. By allowing us here at Faulkner's to take care of everything, it allowed them more time to manage their tire company. They got to focus on their business, while we go to put together an exciting company picnic for them!

Firestone truly values their company picnic, so it was a great joy for us to be able to make their picnics the best they'd ever had.
These are some our favorite photos from one of their picnics here at the ranch.
This one had a lot of fun activities that were enjoyable for all ages!

For this event, we chose to bring in a balloon artist for the kids. This guy was incredible!

Have you ever seen such awesome balloon creations?!
Even our Ranch J, Ted, got in on the balloon action. We loved his microphone!

Speaking of our Ranch J - these guys do a wonderful job in leading all of the games at our picnics. And let us tell ya, folks - Firestone brought the heat to this one! This was one of the best tug-of-wars we've ever seen!

Some of their other favorite activities of the day were the water balloon toss...
...and of course, the roller roper!

The youngins had a ton of fun with the hula hoop contest...

...and of course, face painting was a hit!

No company picnic would be complete without visiting our petting farm animals.

At this one we had a very special new member of the farm family - Stormy!

It was a hot day, so everyone really enjoyed cooling off in the sprinklers between activities!

We should also mention that Firestone did a fantastic job with their prizes by giving away some awesome gift cards.  You can't go wrong with gift cards.

We are so glad that Firestone chose to switch up their tradition and party with us at Faulkner's!
We had such a great time with this awesome group!

A Sunny Picnic {NIC}

We'd be lying if we said that we didn't do a happy dance whenever we looked at the weather report and saw sunshine.  While our rainy day backup plans are just as fun, it's always nice when guests get to enjoy the ranch in its fullest, sunny glory.

That was just the luck for NIC (aka eGov) at their company picnic!
The weather was absolutely beautiful!

This picnic had all of the elements for a really fun time!
The bull was bucking!

Ranch activities were in full swing!

The zipline was flying!

The petting farm animals were getting spoiled.

And of course, there was the most epic inflatable you've ever seen!

Not to mention, there were plenty of drinks flowing to help beat the heat...

Guests also enjoyed a delicious and fresh buffet...

Even the condiment table was a sight to behold...

After lunch, there was a special treat...
SNOW CONES!
Nothing says summer like snow cones, y'all!

All in all, this picnic was just a blast!
Fun people, delicious food, and a beautiful day!
You couldn't ask for more!

Thanks again to NIC for partying with us at Faulkner's Ranch!

BONUS FUN FACT: After guests left, we had just 2 hours to turn this company picnic into this gorgeous wedding!

Rainy Day Back-Up Plan {National Flood Services}

On Saturday, June 13th, we had the amazing people of National Flood Services with us for their company picnic!

Granted, it was a little soggy that day (okay, there was a downpour at one point), but nevertheless they were great sports and were able to enjoy the activities that we had planned for them.  That’s part of what makes our events stress-free.  When you book an event at Faulkner’s Ranch, we always have a Plan B in place, so you don’t have to worry.

To keep our guests happy and dry, we altered our original plan by placing portions of the Ranch Recreation under the picnic pavilion.

That's where you could find one of the busiest attractions of the day -  the mechanical bull!

Kiddos didn't have to worry about missing out on the fun.  We moved the pony rides inside the barn by the petting farm.  Smaller kids were even able to enjoy playing the activities in the Pony Place.
Bingo was held in the banquet barn after a tasty picnic menu of pulled pork, hot dogs and baked beans (yum!).

Luckily, the rain cleared periodically for the kids to get their fill of pedal karts, the moonwalk and the zip line. Judging by how many people were fishing around the pond, it looked like the guests weren't too bothered by the uncooperative weather.
Dressed for a rip-roarin' good time!
One of the highlights of the party was when National Flood Services COO, Chris Hernandez, thanked his employees for their service.  It was a really nice moment.  He even held a drawing for five really nice gift baskets - everyone was excited to see if they would win.  However, even if their name wasn't drawn, he made sure that they didn't leave empty handed.  Employees received a car sunshade and kids even got a treat bag!
Party Tip: Company Picnics are a great place to express your gratitude to your employees, hand out awards, and celebrate those who are retiring.

Overall, this picnic was a great time and proof that a little rain doesn't have to stop the fun!
Thanks again to National Flood Services for choosing Faulkner's Ranch!

Cargill Picnic

Recently we were privileged to host the fine people of Cargill for their company picnic.  Cargill is an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services.
Since Cargill is all about providing food, it was fun that day to turn the tables and feed them.
And feed them we did! Just take a look at their buffet.  Everyone was really excited to dig in...

One great idea that anyone can take from this picnic is that they made sure to provide a vegetarian option.  This is always good idea.  Even if none of your employees are known to be vegetarians, their guests might me so it is always courteous to provide at least a few meals.

Speaking of courteous, the next thing they did just blew our mind.  They requested to have to-go meals prepared for the employees that couldn't attend due to having to work.  Isn't that awesome?  That is truly a great way to show employee appreciation.

By the way, did we mention that it was really hot that day?  Well, this group had no problem staying cool with all of the fun water games and activities.  Just check out the line for the dunk tank:
It was to dunk their manager.  Everyone wanted a chance at that!

Of course, there is no better way to stay cool than some yummy ice-cream.  There was no shortage of that with this awesome ice cream bar.  It had everything you needed to made a delicious sundae.

Talk about a great day!  Thanks again Cargill for choosing Faulkner's Ranch to treat your employees!

Did you know that we have special Fall Picnic Packages for Pumpkin Season?

The Kona Ice Experience

Have you heard about one of the coolest new amenities we have for our company picnics?
It's the Kona Ice Experience!
What is the Kona Experience?  One word: awesome.
Okay, okay, we'll expand!
Kona Ice is a one-of-a-kind experience that serves a premium tropical shaved ice.  Basically, it is a fancy and super delicious snow cone.  This is not your typical snow cone, folks!  The flavors that they have are bold and so scrumptious!
You just get your base snow cone and then head on over to the flavoring station where you can go with one flavor or get experimental and mix a few of your faves.  (Our favorite is Wild Wild Watermelon - yum!)
Oh, and did we mention that they are dairy-free, gluten-free, and even offer flavors that are sugar-free and dye-free?  A perfect, people-pleasing option to consider for your event.

They sure helped us "kool" down during this hot summer and made our company picnics even more fun!

Now we wanna know: what flavor(s) would you choose?

Have a great day ya'll!

PS - Did you know that Kona Ice even has an app that you can download where you can guide their mascot penguin"Kona" on his way around Gooba Jooba Island?  I know!  Too much fun!

5 Ways to Have a High Flying Picnic

B/E Aerospace is the world's leading provider of interior products and solutions, and the world's leading distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables for the commercial, business jet, and military markets.
They manufacture two things that you can find on any airplane.  One you never want to see and one you always want to see.  Oxygen masks and beverage stations!

This company wanted to show their employees a good time with a company picnic and that is exactly what they did!
Follow their lead with five ways that you can have a high flying company picnic!

1.  Enjoy the Great Outdoors and Sunshine!
We just love the ranch on a sunny day!  Guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery as they play on obstacle courses, eat delicious BBQ, and mix and mingle.
Don't worry though - if it rains we've got a backup plan!

2.  Turn Up the Jams!
Our Ranch J's can help you out with that!  They'll keep the party going with only the best tunes!  They also are great at leading games, activities, and drawings.

3.  Play Some Games!
How does cooling off with the dunk tank sound?  Even better - how does dunking your execs in the dunk tank sound?  We heard a lot of "man, that felt good," as well as lots of laughs during this picnic as employees got a chance to dunk their boss!

4.  Play Some More Games!
What can we say?  You can never have enough fun at a company picnic!  We've got games galore for guests to enjoy!

5.  Enjoy lots of yummy food!
This year we are pardnerin' up with Kona Ice to bring some cool treats to our summer picnics!  It looks like this little kitty cat was enjoying hers!  In addition to our sweet treats, we make our own BBQ.  There's nothing like some smoked ribs to really show your employees that you appreciate them!

As Cowboy Bob always says, a good party is all about good food, good music, and fun company!
Looks like B/E Aerospace nailed it!

Treat your company to some fun in the sun with one of our three company picnic packages!  They make planning your big event stress-free!

Have a great day, ya'll!
