A Very Special Picnic {MTN}

Howdy friends!

Today we wanted to share with you a company picnic that we held last fall for a very special group, the Midwest Transplant Network. 

Here is a little bit about this amazing organization:

With a mission to save lives by honoring the gift of donation with dignity and compassion, Midwest Transplant Network (MTN) has been connecting lives in the Kansas and western Missouri communities for 40 years. The successful development of organ and tissue transplantation is one of the most extraordinary triumphs of modern medicine, and MTN works to increase education and awareness to fulfill the serious need for organ and tissue donors and make it possible to deliver this miracle. MTN is a federally certified not-for-profit Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) and works with donors, donor families and hospitals to extend legacies, provide hope and give life.

This event was incredibly special for everyone involved because both donor families and recipients attended.  It was beautiful to watch them connect with the families of those whose lives their loved one had saved.

The donor families made buttons with the faces of their loved ones.  This was one of our favorite activities at this picnic.  It was so touching to hear their stories.

We were so glad that they were able to enjoy a beautiful fall day on the farm.

All of the activities were in full swing!

We felt so honored to be a part of this special day.  A big thank you to the Midwest Transplant Network for choosing Faulkner's Ranch!

Another Happy Client {Musicians Friend}

We've said it before, but we'll say it again...

One of the most rewarding parts of our job is when we open up our inbox after an event to find a sweet note from a client. So, you can imagine just how happy we were when we got this e-mail from the awesome people at Musician's Friend.

Ain't No Race Like a Mouse Race!

Want to throw a party that is something your guests have never experience before?

Then have we got the idea for you!

Mouse Races!

Nope, you didn't read that wrong.  We get so excited when a client chooses to have Mouse Races at their event.  Recently Nymatt chose to have a rowdy rodent night and y'all, it was SO MUCH FUN!

Casino Parties KC by Wheelin'n'Dealin provides the mouse races.  The setup is so much fun!

Here you can see the "racetrack" and the Mouse Roulette on the big screen.

Nope, you didn't read that wrong either.

Mouse Roulette is a real thing.

One of the most hilarious parts of the night is watching what people name their mice.

Gas Passer for the win.

Speaking of the mice, here are the contestants...

Nymatt really upped the stakes with some fantastic prizes.

All in all, this was such a fun night!

A Happy Client {Greenfield Energy Group}

Last Fall we had the privilege of hosting Green Field Energy Group's team building event.  

We were so excited to open up our inbox following the event to find this sweet note and pictures:

Just wanted to say thank you for having your crew take such good care of us on Friday.  Lisa and Ted did an amazing job.  The afternoon was just what our team needed.  Everyone had a blast and throughly enjoyed the time on the ranch.  I told Lisa I would send you a few pictures of our motley crew.  Again, thank you so much.  It could not have gone better, and we really appreciated everything!

A Wild Western Picnic {FMCTI}

Today we are throwing it back to a super fun company picnic that we had with the awesome people of FMCTI.

This picnic is the picture-perfect example of our Wild Western Package.

It had the works: cow milkin', the roller roper, the mechanical bull, fishing, and cow-pattie frisbee!  Plus, the pony rides and petting farm were in full swing.  It was just a beautiful day for a picnic!

A Sunny Picnic {NIC}

We'd be lying if we said that we didn't do a happy dance whenever we looked at the weather report and saw sunshine.  While our rainy day backup plans are just as fun, it's always nice when guests get to enjoy the ranch in its fullest, sunny glory.

That was just the luck for NIC (aka eGov) at their company picnic!

The weather was absolutely beautiful!  

This picnic had all of the elements for a really fun time!

The bull was bucking!

Ranch activities were in full swing!

The zipline was flying!

The petting farm animals were getting spoiled.

And of course, there was the most epic inflatable you've ever seen!

Not to mention, there were plenty of drinks flowing to help beat the heat... 

Guests also enjoyed a delicious and fresh buffet... 

Even the condiment table was a sight to behold...

After lunch, there was a special treat...

SNOW CONES!

Nothing says summer like snow cones, y'all!

All in all, this picnic was just a blast!

Fun people, delicious food, and a beautiful day!

You couldn't ask for more!
