A Perfect Wedding {The Sipes}

We have been SO EXCITED to share with you this beautiful wedding.
Everything about the Sipes wedding was perfect.  The decor, special touches, the attention to detail.
Scott Van Cleave, the father of the bride, made this beautiful sign to welcome guests.
As guests arrived, they were welcomed by the sounds of a beautiful string quartet.  They set the mood perfectly for the ceremony.
As the quartet played in the background, guests first came across this unique seating chart before heading into the covered picnic pavilion.
We loved the creativity behind this idea.  We also loved how functional it was.  Instead of guests hovering over a table to see where they will be sat or searching for place cards, they could easily walk around this to find where they are seated.

After finding their table number, guests were asked to sign the couple's "guestbook."  We are a huge fan of guestbook alternatives because most normal guestbooks end up in storage.  Pieces like this end up as art on a wall and are a beautiful reminder of your special day.

The pavilion looked absolutely beautiful that night.  The ivory table linens and chair covers really helped to transform the space.
It was amazing to think that only a few hours prior we had been hosting a company picnic in this exact spot.

The table settings were truly one of a kind.
Kelly Acock once again blew us away with her floral and centerpiece designs.
Each one was unique, yet they all tied together.
We loved the use of different vases, textures, and heights.

One of our favorite details from this wedding was the party favors that they had at each table for the guests.  They were the most adorable little jars of jam!  How fun to enjoy over a piece of toast for breakfast the next morning while you talk about all of the fun you had the night before!

The bride and groom were seated at the front of the pavilion, closest to the dance floor, at this romantic sweetheart table.  We love the sweet handmade signs that set their table apart.

One of the best parts of our job is getting to witness all of the wonderful "behind-the-scenes" moments.  Watching Rachel and her father get ready to walk down the aisle was so sweet.  He was checking her veil to make sure it was just perfect.  You could just tell that he was so excited to show everyone how beautiful she looked.
Speaking of how beautiful she looked, wasn't her dress amazing?  It was so elegant!

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom greeted guests with a receiving line before they enjoyed a delicious buffet.  The menu they chose for that night was absolutely delicious!

One of our favorite details of this wedding, however, was how the bride and groom chose to serve pies in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. The set up for their pie table was absolutely adorable!
To keep the flow of the party running smoothly, they had separate pies from the ones on display that were already pre-scliced and ready to serve.  Very smart!

Jason Brown, our Ranch J from Complete Music for the night, did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping the dance floor packed.
It was the perfect night for dancing outside under the string lights and stars!
Rule of thumb for brides and grooms: If you want your guests to dance, you need to be on the dance floor too.  The weddings where the bride and groom spend most of their time dancing are the ones that always have a packed dance floor.

Overall, this wedding was truly magical.  It was such a pleasure to celebrate a wonderful couple like Ross and Rachel.
Congrats to them once again! We wish you a lifetime full of happiness!

  1. Joyous to know about this amazing wedding. Couple of months ago, I arranged my best friend’s wedding at one of excellent Malibu wedding venues. Booked a spacious venue which can accommodate all our guests. Hope everyone loved wedding arrangements.
